following the try-outs.
Adams Names Cast
For All My Sons'
Cast was selected Monday night for "All My Sons" Mc-
Murry Theatre's first production of the year to be given
Oct. 19 and 20.
The cast as announced by Director Bill Adams includes:
Maurice Pullig as Joe Keller the father; Virginia Goodrich
as Kate Keller the mother and
Stanley Soaton as Chris Keller the
son.
The supporting cast will be as
follows: Let a Joy Culp Ann Doc-
ver; Travis Jordan George Derver;
Sara Dickinson Sue Bayliss; Ho-
mer Bridges Dr. Jim Bayliss; Jo-
anne Akons Lydla Luby; and Keith
Greathouso Frank Luby Lubey.

posed of 15 students which in-
cludes seven new members and
eight veteran library helpers says

According to Mrs. Hollar the
library will open at 7:30 a.m. and
close at 9:30 p m. except on Sat-
urday afternoon when it will close
at 5 o'clock. It will also be open
during the noon hour.
"A new service is being added
to the library this year" continued
Mrs. Hollar. "Monday through Fri-
day night from 6 to 7 records will
be played from our stock. You are
Invited to come in and make your
selection. We do not have a gieat
variety" stated Mrs. Hollar "but
we do have many of the great
masters of music and some of tho
Voice of Poetry series."
The first staff meeting of the
year was held Thursday ntght
Sept. 14 with all staff members
present. Staff meetings where
problems of the library are usually
taken up are held twice a semester.
The scenes will be designed by
Mack Statham and stage manager
will be Richard Bacon.
Rehearsal ebgan Tuesday afternoon.

annual tour of the United States.

Last weekend's visit to Tulsa
was the beginning of perhaps the
busiest and the best year in his-
tory for the McMurry Indian band
according to Raymond T. Bynum
diroctoi .
Eighteen freshman members of
the band received their "baptism
of fire" last Saturday to the tune
of a parade performances on radio
and television and an appearance
at the McMurry-Tulsa university
football game. This is only a sam-
ple of what will come later in the
year said Bynum.
On Sept. 30 the Indian band will
accompany the McMurry football
team to Canyon for the game with
West Texas State college. The band
will stay that night In Amarillo
and will present two Sunday morn-
ing worship services at the San
Jacinto Methodist church there an
Oct. 1.
The group also will perform
at the MrMurry-Howard Payne
college game In Brounwood on
Nov. 11. Tho next major activity
Hlated by the band Is for Sept.
25 when the group will lead the
parade which opens tho annual
West Texan Fair In Abilene.

Wah Wahtaysee
Plans Tea Monday
For All Women
Main discusssion at the Wah
Wahtaysee meeting Monday was
the tea for all campus women of
advanced standing.
The tea will be held in the lounge
of President hall between 4:30 and
5:30 reports Emily Ledbetter
president.
Women who would like to be-
come members of Wah Wahtaysee
will be asked to sign a special
register. Qualifications include: a
1.5 grade average and advanced
standing sophomore junior or
senior.
Other officers of Wah Wahtaysee
this year are Pat Maberry secretary-treasurer;
Joyce McCauley
keeper of records; Grace McWhor-
ter pianist; Peggy Bodinc re-
porter. Members present at the meet-

450 Pictures Taken
For 1951 Totem
Pictures for the 1051 Totem the
college annual were taken Monday
and Tuesday of this week. Grace
McWhorter editor reports that
approximately 450 pictures were
made.
Proofs may be picked up per-
sonally at Thurman's Studio 1138
North Second one week from the
day the pictures were made.
Those who did not have their
pictures made will be notified in
October as to the make-up day

For Staff Meeting
A Totem staff meeting is sched-
uled for 3 o'clock Monday after-
noon In the Totem office located
in the Quadrangle reports Grace
McWhorter editor.
All students who havo had ex-
perience on high school or college
annuals or who are interested in
working on the Totem are asked
to attend.
A general view of annual editing
and division of the year's work will
be tho main topics discussed she
