This picture, painted as part of the Texas Centennial celebration in 1936,
is on permanent loan to the Star of the Republic Museum at Washington-
on-the-Brazos. The artists did extensive research to assure that the portraits
of the participants in the famous event are authentic. A diagram identifying
all of the men is available from the Star of the Republic Museum, P.O. Box
317, Washington, Texas 77880.
