The Association will hold its 1983 annual meeting in Houston,
March 3-5, at the Shamrock Hotel.
The fourth annual meeting of the German Texan Heritage Society
will be in Fredericksburg, September o10-2. For registration forms,

The American Association for State and Local History meets Sep-
tember 20-24 in Hartford, Connecticut.
The East Texas Historical Association will meet in Nacogdoches,
September 24-25-
The Oral History Association will meet October 7-10 in San An-
tonio.
The Society of American Archivists meets October 19-22 in Boston.
The Western History Association will hold its annual conference
in Phoenix, October 20-23.
The Southern Historical Association will hold its annual meeting
in Memphis, November 3-6.
'The West Texas Historical Association will hold its 1983 annual
meeting in Abilene in March. Those interested in presenting papers
of twenty to twenty-five minutes on West Texas topics are invited to

The Ernst Raba Collection, comprising 246 historical photographs
of San Antonio, has been donated to the San Antonio Conservation
Society by the San Antonio Express-News Corporation. Raba, born in
