College Town Hall
Scheduled Monday
College Town Hall under the
auspices of the Texa Manufac-
turer Association will be pie-
sented Monday from 10:30 until
12 noon in Mims Auditorium.
This is a panel discussion and
question-and-answer period on
business problems labor-management
relations and positions open
to students.
Everyone who attended last
year was seemingly qu:te inter-
ested in the piogram. Also the
answers given were satisfacto:y
in most mstances.
Business and administration
students are basically the ones to
whom the piogram is p:esented
although anyone may attend. Dr.
i Z. T. Huff dean of the college
and academic vice president said
that all who wish to attend must
sign a roster list in the lobby of
the auditorium to receive an ex-
cused absence from class.
Dr. Huff also stated that some
high school students may be in-
vited to be present.
John E. Rasco is director of
public relations for TMA and he
will emcee the program. On the
panel will be R. H. Norris presi-
dent of Dearborn Stove Company
of Dallas who was here last

DIG THOSE DOTS
HPC Students Take to '42'
By EUGENE FLEMING
Did you ever play a game with
dominoes called "forty-two?" It
is not generally considered a
spectator sport but it is leally
just as amusing as tiddly winks
table tennis or any of the other
really gieat games.
To begin the game the fellows
I watched got out some little flat
blocks with white specks on one
side. I thought at first that they
must not like the sides with dots
on them because the first thing
they did was to turn all the little
dots toward the table.
The next thing they did was
to each pick up one of those lit-
tle blocks. They said the fellow
that got the biggest block got to
bid first. Well they all looked

like they were the same size to
' me but they must have had some
I way of telling which wa3 biggest.
Another thing that was not
clear was what it was that they
were bidding for. I asked once
and they said it was for the point
but I never did see any point to
the game.
After they got all the dots hid-
den one of the boys began to
stir the dominoes around with his
hands. That must have been to
confuse everybody. Then each
one of the fellows reached in and
got himself two handfuls of the
blocks and looked at the side
with the dots on it. They had
been confused all right!
It looked for a while like they
