Boys Have To
"Pretty Up" Boxes-
Girls Do Bidding
Threats have been flying fat
and furious ever since the bojs
lound out that they weic going to
be the sole ' makers ' of the boxes
for the shenanigan in the form of
the box supper in the auditorium
the first night of Leap Year Week
A few of them even went so for
as to say they'd only put hambui-
ger in theirs and one that was
cut in two at that
All this happened however be
fore they learned that the mini
mum price set on the boxes was
35c And with tht gills cooperat
ing like this even the bojs
wouldn t dire pull such a trick
t urthcrmorc declared the ' law -makers"
when the heard of all
this nonsense the contents of all
those boxes with tissue paper or
other tommyrot in them would
likely be stuffed down the throats
of the creator by he deceived wo-
man. ' Our money" say the gals "is
just as good as anybody's money
and then it follows that the boys
boxes should be as good as they
would be if we made them "
No dragging In the auctioneer
ing of the boxes is likely to take
place because the master of cere
monies while ho is starting off the
thing is going to keep his eyes
peeled for some likely looking
dame in the audience He will call
on her and she will auction off a
part of the boxes of her class.
Several girls will get a chance at
their powers of salesmanshiD or
auctionship that night
So the gals bring the boys and
the boys bring the boxes . . and
don't foiget that all's fair in love
and Leap Year Week
