The concert will feature the Windjammcis Pat Hamill
ton Jerrel Elliot and Clark Walter at their best wit'

creased by their store of musical instruments: the clarinet

Academic Program
The year 1968 will bring a
stronger emphasis on the aca-
demic program. The teaching
program will be intensified and
expanded with such innovations
as the new freshman English pro-
gram and the library re-classifica-tion
which aie already in prog-
ress and with the establishment
of a language laboratory to in-
crease the learning processes and
opportunities.
This summer the renovation of
the first floor of Old Main will be
undertaken to convert the area
into offices and into specialty
rooms to accommodate the langu-

Convocation Centers on Films
The theme of thc annual Con-
vocation on Christian Ethics
January 24-2G will be a "Film
Festival." From fifteen to twenty
short and full-length films will bc
shown to raise questions on hu-
manity ethical issues and to
stimulate discussion. The con-
vocation will be sponsored by thc
Religious Life Office the Relig-
ious Life Council and thc Chris-
tian Student Movement.
The films will bo an artistic ex-
pression on basic questions con-
cerning non-religious themes.
Among thc films to be shown are
"The Hat" "The Interview" "Har-
lem Wednesday" "It's About This
Carpenter" "A Day in the Night
of Jonathan Mole" "Clay" a film
on the evolution of man "The
Square" a film concerning con-
formity and "Thc Cross Country
Runner."
The films include American and
foreign films experimental films
and undergiound films. Discus-
sions on the films will be kd by
McMuiry students and faculty
members.
