it has since been sung many
times including a performance
with the Oklahoma City Sym-
phony Orchestra
The narrator and the guest
singers are members of the Ok-
lahoma Baptist University fa-
culty Woodward fine arts dean at
OBU earned his music master's
at Southern Baptist Theological
Seminary in his native Ken-
tucky He also became conductor
of the Centurymen a nation-
wide choral organization com-
posed of ministers of music and
has made 10 records
Horton an OBU music profes-
sot earned his doctorate in
music from the Southern Bap-
tist Theological Seminary also
and has studied further at the
University of Michigan and in
1 Academic des Arts Musicaux
in Pans.
Graham earned her doctrate
in music at Florida State Uni-
veisity and became an OBU
professor in 1977. She has sung
leading soprano roles in

Early results from a still in-
complete poll by McMurry Col-
lege students indicate that
Ronald Reagan may be the lead-
ing presidential contender in
Abilene
A first tabulation by Dr Lynn
Jones shows the following per-
centages Carter 36 5 per cent
Reagan 44 5 Anderson 2 5 un-
decided 10 5 refusal to say 6 0
Jones whose students are
conducting the survey says this
m based on the return of 173 of
268 queries
He feels the 6 per cent rate of
refusal is unusually high in such
a poll
The question on which the
percentages are based is It the
election were held tomorrow
which candidate would you vote
for?

A symposium on "Religion in
the Eighties" will be held Wed-

Dr. Robert Monk.
