2 THE CORRAL
In Memory of
FOSTER - DUDLEY - SMITH
Harmonious Souls in God's accord have flown;
Mourn not, lest He in turn reprove, Oh man!
His Savior's love in faith One drew full tone,
The form death could but take, subdue, command!
A Son, sleep snatched the angel's time to cheer
Not how, nor why, repose, repine-God knew.
The Other, hues of light did strew, drew near
That all our lives might blend in one bright hue.
Though grief is hard to bear; doubt slow to move
Why rush the discords in? Strive on and wait.
Time is a thought; each life a faith; a mood.
Trust on, see all, believe, paint not the gate.
While on thy sailing swings thou dream at sea
Wake not, dear Ones, to pity restless me!
