The Proposition submitted by C W Batsell was then opened and read by the Secretary as follows-

Committee on Old Settlers Reunion 1893
Gentlemen
I submit the following proposition for Old Settlers Picnic. I tender the use of my park all under good fence, plenty of running water for stock purposes, an abundance of good drinking water and Ice. Lights and wood. Will also furnish free transportation to and from my grounds, to all Committees with Badges or all of them that I know to be veterans. Will furnish as good a Band as can be procured for the occastion.
The above all offered to the Old Settlers Committee free of charge.

"To the executive Committee of the Old Settlers Association Grayson County Texas.
Gentlemen
As the time is near at hand where your Committee is to meet and select the place where you will hold your next Annual Reunion, the undersignes, as Representatives of the College Park Rapid Transit Company take great pleasure in offering you the following inducements to again select the College Park as your place of Meeting.
1st We will supply you with abundant stock water.
2nd Ice Water in liberal supply and the best quality shall be at hand at all times.
3rd We will supply you with all needful fuel.
4th We pledge you a splendid Band of Music during your entire two days session.
5th We will furnish Free transportation for all Enrolled Old Settlers upon application therefor through your secretary.
