come prepared to stay until it is all over, you will find the grounds high and cool and clear of dust, and besides, there is about 200 acres of excellent grass for your horses and if you prefer you can have a separate shade tree under which to camp.
come and we promise you a good time - the old settlers picnic don't come but once a year and you can not afford to miss it. there will be plenty of wood and water for camping purposes.

the undersigned as representatives of the College Hillls and Park Line Company, take pleasure in offering you the following inducements to again select the College Park as your place of meeting:
FirstWe will supply you with abundant stock water.
SecondIce water in liberal supply and of the best quality shall be at hand at all times, with an abundance of ice for same.
Third We will supply you with all needed fuel.
Fourth We pledge you a splendid band of music during your entire two day session.
