Second Resolved that the thanks of this association be tendered the College Kill Rapid Transit Co. [abbr: Company] for courtesies extended to the old settlers association in giving their members over 50 years of age free transportation during their 3 days reunion.

Third Resolved that the thanks of this association be tendered Prof [abbr: Professor] Kohler for the most excellent music furnished during the 3 days picnic and for being always at their post of duty when wanted.

Fourth Resolved that the thanks of this association be extended the citizens of Sherman for courtesies and for their attencdance at our reunion contributing to the success of the picnic.

Fifth That where as the Old Settlers Association is increasing at the rate of 400 members per year. and whereas it is the wish of every citizen of Grayson County both old and young to perpetuate this the grandest and most popular organization in this county - a place when everybody old and new settlers can come and enjoy themselves a place where all dissentins and differences political and religious are laid aside, and on and all meet as a united brotherhood of Texans Therefore resolved by the old settles association that our elective officers by the old settlers association that our elective officers and executive committee are hereby authorized and duly empowered to secure, a suitable place to permanently locate our association.
They are authorized and empowered to make all necessary arrangements for our next annual picnic at such place as they may select.

Sixth Resolved that the thanks of this association is tendered the proprietors of the different news papers of Grayson county for courtesies in publishing our program free of charge and other favors.
