Meeting of Trustees Sept [abbr: September] 2nd 1899

The Board adopted the following Resolutions.

Resolved that the thanks of this association be extended to the public generally for the loyal patronage given to those who puchased privileges on the grounds of the association and the cold comfort given to those who tried to run opposition stands.

Resolved that the thanks of this association be tendered the Hon County Commissioner's court for loan of chain for hitching purposes.

Resolved that the thanks of this association be tendered the mayor and city council of sherman for water furnished the association at merely nominal cost, also for permission to tap the water main at Austic College, and for other favors.

Resolved that the thanks of this association be tenedered A. A. Fielder for inumberating for seating shed during our reunion.

Resolved that the thanks of this association be tendered Mrs. L. A. Kidd - Key, for use of Chapel for Gov. [abbr: Govenor] Hubbards lecture without charge.

Resolved that the President and Secretary of this association are hereby authorized to make arrangements with either of the Banks of Sherman or with any private individual for money to pay accounts and notes due by this association, as appears on list as furnished by Secretary and Treasurer in his report of Sept 1st to this board.
