The symptoms oi Bioliusness are unhappily I
but too well known. They differ in difTeren'
individuals to some extent. A Bilious man is
seldom a breakfast eater. Too fr equentlyalas
he has an excellent appetite for liquids but
none for solids of a morning. His tongue
will hardly bear inspection at any time ; if it
is not white and furred it is rough at all
events.
The digestive system is wholly out of or-

Suits for Taxes.
Attorney-General Hogg has sent
to the District and County attorneys
the following instructions in regard
to the collection of delinquent taxes:
Owing to the difficulty in perfect-
ing tax titles to lands some citizens
are becoming indifferent about pay-
ing their taxes ; delinquents feel en-
couraged and are becoming common
and defiant. They should also be
atteneed to. Get your tax collector
to furnish you the name of each land
owning delinquent together with all
the taxes he is due the county and
state as far back as the record veri-
fy. Prepare his accounts in legal
form sue. him in the court of compe-
tent jurisdiction obtain judgment
and execution against him and have
his land sold to satisfy the debt and
costs. When his title passes by pro-
per proceedings of this kind there
will be fewer technicalities upon
which he can base hopes to escape
his just dues to the government.
Taxes are due and required to be
paid in counties where the property
is situated without reference to the
residence. Should you consult your
assessor and collector you will doubt-
less find many tracts of land In your
county belonging to non-residents
on which taxes are rarely if overpaid.
Look well to this class of delin
quents; sue them obtain judgments
and healthful results will follow
either by collecting all back taxes or
by localizing the ownership of lands.
If in preparation of either the crimi-
nal prosecutions or the civil actions
suggested hereby you encounter any
difficulties in this department on de-
mand will cheerfully render you all
the advice and assistance proper and
necessary.
