geon General Wyman of the
marine hospital service has had
translated tue account written
by Dr. Sanarilli of Montevideo
of his discovery of what he
claims to be tne yellow fever
cerm and which he calls the
icteroid bacillus. He says the
bacillus was discovered in the
second case examined. The
doctor dwells upon the diffi-
culty of 'making sure "of results
because of the numerous mi-
crobes found in yellow fever
patients. The particular germ
which he holds to be responsi-
