Indian Wars, has begun soliciting proposals for articles on the Indian
Wars. Those selected will be published in the inaugural issue of what
they hope will be an ongoing scholarly series on all aspects of the
American Indian Wars, with the primary focus on the plains and south-
western wars.
Articles must be original, well written and scholarly, and geared to
both professional and lay readers. Articles on military engagements
should include information on the goals, actions, and leaders of both
sides. Endnotes will be employed following each article. Appropriate
illustrations and original and/or public domain maps will be utilized.
