For greater efficiency in service for
the welfare of the State, the three
regional chambers of commerce in
Texas-the West Texas Chamber of
Commerce, the East Texas Chamber
of Commerce, and the South Texas
Chamber of Commerce --h a v e
united their efforts on certain im-
portant State-wide activities through
the All-State Council of Regional
Chambers of Commerce.
This arrangement provides a clear-
ing house for Texas information and
a central agency which can mo-
bilize the sentiment of organized
business and can act jointly on mat-
ters of State-wide interest. Every
one of the 254counties in Texas can
secure the services of one of the
regional organizations on regional
and local matters.
