Any city of consequence must have a newspaper
that stands out-that's always named in the
same breath with its city. In Dallas, it's The
News.
It's the only Dallas paper that has
the facilities of Associated Press wire
news service and WIREPHOTOS
seven days a week . . . . the only
Dallas Sunday paper with a colorgra-
vure magazine and a rotogravure pic-
ture section. It's the only Texas news-
paper that follows consistently the pol-
icy of building a newspaper with its
own staff talent---cartoonists, writers,
columnists and feature producers-
rather than to rely upon "canned"
