HELPING BUILD TEXAS
wIN THE HOME STRETCH
As the "war of nerves" becomes a "war of reserves," sulphur
produced by Freeport continues to supply scores of vital industries in
the present war effort. In one form or another, sulphur helps make
gasoline, steel, synthetic rubber, explosives, aviation fuel, fertilizer, agri-
cultural dusts and sprays, paper, rayon and countless other essentials.
Having won the Army-Navy Production Award for the third time
in both our Texas and Louisiana operations, we have added a second
star to our Army-Navy "E" flags and shall fly those banners proudly
as representing achievements of the past and a pledge of our continuing
efforts in the future.
