itg the time for completing said bridge two years from 1st January, 1862.
38. Granting Solomon Wolfe the privilege of constructing a toll-bridge across
the Angelina River and sloughs on the Nacogdoches side of said river.
34. Incorporating the Pulaski Bridge Company.
35. Authorizing the payment of Audited Cameron County Scrip, for the
license tax for retailing liquors, in quantities of -less than a quart.
36. Authorizing the Governor to appoint an agent for the Alabama and Co-
shatta Indians; and appropriating $800 to defray the expenses of said agency.
37. Extending the right of way, one and a half miles above, and one and a
half miles below, the West Fork bridge on the Trinity river, to the West Fork
Bridge Company, incorporated February 11th, 1860.
38. Granting relief to the Eastern Texas Railroad Company, when five con-
secutive miles of their road are completed beyond the twenty-five miles now
completed, in the sum of $30,000, as a loan, in the U. S. 5 per cent. indemnity ,
bonds; and land certificates, at 50 cents per acre, for the amount of $7,50u ; said
Company also not being required to complete the first fifty miles of their road
till one year after the termination of the war.
,39. Authorizing J. P. and Francis W. Dent to adopt a child whose parentage
is unknown, to be called Nellie Dent; and authorizing J. H. Lea to adopt Alex-
ander Wright, and changing his name to Alexander Lea.
40. Graning relief to Mrs. Martha Brennan.
41. Granting relief to the heirs of Abner Fox.
42. Authorizing the County Courts of Brown, El Paso, Hopkins, Houston,
Tarrant, Wil.iamson, Angelina, Lamar, Upshur, Hunt, Gonzales, La Vaca, De-
Witt, and Panola counties. to allow the Sheriff's of their respective counties ex-
tra pay, not to exceed $200. per annum, for certain sei vices.
44. Granting relief to Francisco A. Ruiz and Antonio Ruiz de Herrera.
44. Attaching the counties of Clay and -Wichita to the county of Montague
for Judicial purposes.
