corresponding figures at the heads of the columns of days below. For
example: To know on what day of the week July 4 was in the year 1895,
in the table of years look for 1895, and in a parallel line, under July, is
figure 1, which directs to column 1, in which it will be seen that July 4
falls on Thursday.
