reconciled on the subject. I can't hardly believe that Floyd started in with the intention of fooling me, still he may be out of the notion by this time. I have nothing to say about it. It is with him, not I. I still have confidence in Floyd, and shall continue to have, until he writes or tells me his mind has changed. I guess by the time I write again I will know more than I do now. If Floyd is as constant as ever, I will appreciate your kindness very much in reference to questioning Miss Sallie, but if he has chosen some one else to endeavor to make happy, of course it will only be irritating the old wound, And I will beg of you not to put yourself to any trouble about it whatever till you hear from me again.
