satisfactory forage production. The amount of fertil-
izer needed varies according to the depth of the soil.
The potential of these soils to produce such grasses
as improved bernmulagrass, King Ranch bluestelm,
and Kleberg bluestenm is medium or low.,

This group consists of nearly level to gently slop-
ing clayey to gravelly and loamy soils on uplands.
These shallow to very shallow soils are moderately
slowly permeable. Available water capacity is very
low.A complete fertilizer containing nitrogen, phos-

factory forage production. The amount of fertilizer
needed varies with the depth of the soil, Thel poten-
tial of these soils to produce such grasses as im-
proved bermudagrass, King Ranc-h blueste , and
Kleberg bluestem is medium to low.
