Member and Thus Aid in Improving the Town.
Hereford is now but a little over
two years old, yet its growth has
been phenomenal—not a boom, but
a gradual, steady and sure increase
of population, dwellings and business
places. The outlying districts are
dotted here and there with com-
fortable and substantial farm and
much buildings, which are steadily
l&creasing in number.
Some time ago the Western Union
Land Company donated a tract of
ten acres to the town to be used as a
public park, on condition that the
citizens improve and beautify the
same.

the matter of entertainment on said
