OPEN FOR BUSINESS
ANEW firm,-com posed of L. W. Ricketts, L. Gough and J. N. Russell, have bought the entire stock of Furniture and
Undertaking Goods of the Gililland Furniture Company. We are now open and ready for business and cordially invite
the trading public to GHilland's old stand to see the REAL BARGAIN PRICES at which we will dispose of this stock.
Of course, we bought it cheap and we can sell it cheap. We want to move the stock right out and do it QUICK, and we know
the surest way to do this Is to make the prices so low and tempting that all who even think they need furniture will come
and buy. We promise that you shall not be disappointed as to the prices. Now as to Quality—let us say that the old firm
has gotten in Three Cars of Brand New Furniture during the past few months from some of the best factories in the land
and we will "show you" as to the quality. We have some high-class Parlor Suits, Bed-Room Suits, China Closets, Book
Cases, Library Tables, Chiffoniers, Chairs, Etc., all to be sold at greatly reduced prices; also Brass Beds, Art Squares, Etc.,
on every one of which you will find a very pleasing special price. So come and come at once and see what we are doing in
the Furniture business. Let us say that we have no apology to offer for being in the furniture business.
We realize that there is plenty of room for this store and we are going to push this business as industriously as we know
how. Some of the members of this firm are among your oldest citizens—men who have talked and worked and spent their
money and time for Hereford and the Hereford Country. We do not doubt that you will give them a liberal patronage.
In fact, we are going to conduct this business in such a good way as to command your liberal patronage. We will retain the
services of Mr. J. M. Gililland, a Licensed Embalmer and Undertaker, who is well and favorably known among you. He will
attend promptly and intelligently to the direction of all funeral arrangements. Call him; Phone No. 251.
