reminded that most Federal Judges are now accepting applica-
tions for the 1984-86 clerks. Check with the placement office for
specific listings as well as a court roster.
Placement Programs — A series of placement programs is
scheduled during March. Speakers from the Houston Bar
Association and the Houston Young Lawyers Association will
discuss topics ranging from interviewing skills to practice in cor-
porate legal departments and various sized firms. Date, time and
program location will be posted on the placement bulletin boards
in late February.

Nominees for Teachers Excellence Awards
During the annual Spring Awards Banquet, the Teachers Ex-
cellence Awards are presented to the adjunct and full-time faculty
members who, in the opinion of the students of South Texas, ex-
emplifies the outstanding leadership and high standards of profes-
sionalism of our faculty. A professor may not receive the award if
he or she had been recognized the previous year; therefore, Pro-
fessor Kenneth Engerrand and Professor Charles J. Weigel, III
are ineligible this year.
Any student who wishes to nominate a professor may pick up
a nomination form from the information desk on the 2nd floor.
All nominations should be returned to the receptionist at the in-
formation desk by 4:00 p.m., Monday, March 7.
Blood Drive
The Student Bar Association, along with St. Lukes Episcopal

1. The donor and his/her immediate family unit.
2. Some other family unit designated by the donor.

of the donation.
The Life Plan Coverage is for the period of one year.
Those intending to give blood should eat 4 hours prior to the
donation. The minimum weight level is 110 pounds. The Student
Bar Association has set a goal of 200 participants in the Blood
Drive this year. If you are able to give, you will benefit both
yourself and others. For further information or questions, please
contact Blood Drive Chairman Lynn Cherry at 428-1464.
SBA unable to plead-out for parking tickets

and complications with the Municipal Court, the Student Bar
Association will be unable to plead out all of the student tickets as
was previously offered.
If you have questions about your tickets, please see Michael
Jones, Mid-Law Senator for further information as to who you
can contact for help. We apologize for the delay on this matter
and for being unable to be of assistance.
