George W. Pyle his wife and two child
ren and a hired man were all mur
dered and left for dead in their house at
Carr's ranch 20 miles southwest of here
In the Cherokee Nation on Sunday
night. Mrs. Pyle and the hired man

probably die. The fiendish work was
done with an axe. Upon the same farm
about a half mile from where Mr. Pyle
lived a widow "woman and her son
were found killed in their house on the

been placed in the hands of a committee
for consideration and Invited Master
Workman Powderly to visit the city and
