Tho Scott Habeas Corpus Case.
The Investigation In this case waa re-
sumed this morning. All the witnesses
examined were on the side of tbe state
and their evidence was very damaging
to the Scotts though It possibly may be
rebutted. Dr.Carotbers waa examined
as an oxpert and the skull and Its miss-
ing pieces were plaoed In bis hands and
he proceeded to lit them together Ilka
an old hand. It la rather ghastly to see
skulls and bones In tbe oourt-houae dur-
ing a trial. Tbe case Is not yet com-
pleted. A Chooky Thief.
