Senator Schwartz offered the following resolution:
S.C.R. 82, Memorializing Congress in opposition to expansion of Federal
authority over land and water management.

On motion of Senator Schwartz and by unanimous consent, the resolution was
considered immediately and was adopted.
SENATE RESOLUTION 584
Senator Snelson submitted the following resolution:
WHEREAS, Mr. Chick Chadwell is a student at the University of Texas
majoring in accounting; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Chadwell comes from San Angelo, Texas; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Chadwell is a civic-minded and public-spirited citizen; and
WHEREAS, KLRN-TV is a Public Education television station; and
WHEREAS, KLRN-TV held an auction to raise money for the station to
operate; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Chick Chadwell purchased at that auction the right to be
Parliamentarian of the Texas Senate for a day; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Chick Chadwell is serving as Parliamentarian on the 19th day
of May, 1975; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the 64th Legislature honor Chick Chadwell
and commend his sense of public spirit and interest in the Texas Senate.
The resolution was read and was adopted.
Senator Snelson expressed appreciation to Mr. Chadwell for his service and for
his interest in the Texas Senate.
The President then presented Mr. Chadwell a gavel.
