The Hazel Watson Circle of the

morning at 9:30 a.in. in the home

WMU president, Mrs. W. F. Chum-

Mrs. Frank Waggoner III was
hostess Tuesday morning at 9:30
a.m. for the Letha Saunders Circle
of the Woman's Missionary Union
of Central Baptist Church.
During the business meeting Mrs.
Harry Tilley gave the community
missions report.
Mrs. Waggoner read the calendar
of prayer for the missionaries and
led the prayer. The Bible lesson
was taught by Mrs. George lliggin-
bolham from the first chapter of
the book "His Message Our Mis
siori." Mrs. Jack Maxwell dismissed
the meeting with prayer.

The Woman's Missionary Union

serve Focus Week beginning next
Monday.

Woman's Missionary Auxiliary
Miss Charlene Mixon presided
Monday evening at 7:30 P.M. overj
the regular meeting of the Wo-
man's Missionary Auxiliary in the
fellowship hall of the church.
Mrs. J. H. Jayroe led the song
service accompanied by Miss Shar-
mel Harrell at the piano.
Mrs. W. J. Dormán brought the
devotional using as her text por-
tions of the lli)th Psalm. Her topic
| was "The Bible-Word of G o d."
Members were asked to rjuote ver-
ses of the Bible using the word of
| God. Mrs. Dormán pointed out that1
'the Bible was translated into many!
' languages and was a guide for
many people. Mrs. J D. Stadler
closed the meeting with prayer.
During the social hour which fol-
lowed refreshments of coffee and
■ cake were served by members of
the Ruth Circle who were hostes-
ses for the evening.
