and the S. B. line of Mrs. J. F. Traylor survey 1901 vrs. to the
E. B. line of E. Guthrie survey. Thence S. with the E. B. line
of said Guthrie survey and the E. B. line of Mrs. E. P. Douglas
sur. 3200 vrs. to the Trinity River. Thence up said river with
its meanders 20,400 vrs. to the N. W. corner of Henderson
County and the S. W. corner of Kaufman County. Thence east
with Henderson and Kaufman County lines 9,100 vrs. to the
E. B. line of the W. S. Campbell survey at a point 672 vrs. N.
from the S. E. corner of the same, the place beginning.
SEC. 3. The county school authorities of Henderson County
shall have the management and control of the public school in
said district.
SEC. 4. The trustees of said district shall be elected as provided
by General Law for election of trustees of such districts.
The trustees now acting shall serve until their successors are
duly elected as required by law and shall have full power and
authority to control and manage the school of said district.
SEC. 5. The crowded condition of the calendar and the importance
of this measure, creates an emergency and an imperative
public necessity requiring the suspension of the constitutional
rule that bills be read on three several days and the said
rule is hereby suspended and this Act shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage, and it is so enacted.
[NoTE.-The enrolled bill shows that the foregoing Act passed
the House, 107 yeas, 0 nays; passed the Senate, 28 yeas, 0 nays.]

CREATING THE COMFORT INDEPENDENT COUNTY
LINE SCHOOL DISTRICT IN KENDALL
AND KERR COUNTIES.
H. B. No. 187.] CHAPTER 18.
An Act creating and incorporating the Comfort Independent County Line
School District lying in the counties of Kendall and Kerr in the State
of Texas, defining the boundaries thereof, providing for a Board of
Trustees thereof, placing said independent district under the control of
the General Laws governing independent districts, providing that no
outstanding indebtedness of the Comfort County Line District be invalidated,
and declaring an emergency
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Texas:
SECTION 1. The Comfort County Line Independent School District
is hereby created and established and includes within its
limits the following described territory as shown by the following
metes and bounds to-wit:
Beginning at a point where the Kerr and Kendall County line
crosses the N. line of Survey No. 27 J. M. Ragalado;
