CREATING CARBON INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT
IN EASTLAND COUNTY.
H. B. No. 375.,] CHAPTER 63.
An Act creating the Carbon Independent School District in Eastland
County, Texas; defining its boundaries; providing for a board of trustees
in said district; conferring upon said district and its board of trustees
all the rights, powers, privileges, duties and liabilities now conferred
and imposed by the General Laws of Texas upon independent
school districts and the board of trustees thereof; declaring that all
taxes or bonds heretofore authorized by any former school district
included within the bounds thereof shall remain in full force and
effect, and declaring an emergency.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Texas:
SECTION 1. That the (arbon Independent School Distril t is hereby
created and established in Eastland County, Texas, containing
within its limits the following described territory towit;
Beginning 1034 feet east of the northwest corner of the northeast
quarter of Section 43, Block 2, H.
