emergency and imperative public necessity which requires that
the constitutional rule providing that bills shall be read on three
several days, shall be suspended and said rule is hereby suspended,
and this amendment and Act shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage, and it is so enacted.
[NOTE.-The enrolled bill shows that the foregoing Act passed
the House of Representatives, yeas 107, nays 0; and passed the
Senate, yeas 26, nays 0.]
[The foregoing Act was presented to the Governor of Texas for
his approval on the 14th day of March, A. D. 1923, but was not
signed by him nor returned to the House in which it originated,
with his objections thereto, within the time prescribed by the Constitution,
and thereupon became a law without his signature.]

PFLUGERVILLE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICTAMENDING
ACT CREATING.
H. B. No. 563.] CHAPTER 101.
An Act to amend Section 1 of an Act entitled "An Act creating the Pflugerville
Independent School District in Travis and Williamson Counties,
Texas, consolidating into said independent school district the territory
included in the present Pflugerville Independent School District,
Common School District No. 56, Common School District No. 12, Williamson
and Travis County Line School District No. 14, and Common
District No. 15; defining its boundaries, vesting it with the rights,
powers, duties and privileges of districts incorporated for school purposes
only under the 'General Law; providing for a board of trustees
therefor; making provision for taxation for school purposes in said district,
and declaring an emergency," being House Bill No. 606 passed
by the Regular Session of the Thirty-sixth Legislature, and amended
by House Bill No. 51 passed by the Second Called Session of the
Thirty-sixth Legislature, "Changing and correcting the boundary lines
of said school district and validating and confirming the election of
school trustees for said district, and declaring an emergency," providing
for the election of trustees in said school district and validating
and confirming the election of school trustees for said school district.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Texas:
SECTION 1. That Section 1 of an Act entitled "An Act creating
their Pflugerville Independent School District in Travis County,
Texas, consolidating into said independent school district the territory
included in the present Pflugerville Independent School District,
