BRAZORIA COUNTY ROAD LAWS-REPEALING.
S. B. No. 434.] CHAPTER 124.
An Act to repeal Chapter 63 special law passed by the 33rd Legislature,
and to repeal Chapter 98 special law passed by the 30th Legislature,
being special road laws, and amendments thereto for Brazoria County;
and declaring an emergency.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Texas:
SECTION 1. That Chapter 98 special law passed by the 30th
Legislature, and Chapter 63, special law passed by the 33rd
Legislature, creating a road system for Brazoria County, be and
the same are hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. The fact that the said road laws for Brazoria County
are no longer workable and cause confusion in the administration
of the road laws of the State, affecting Brazoria County,
and the near approach of the close of this session of this Legislature,
and the crowded condition of the calendar, creates an
emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring that
the constitutional rule that all bills shall be read upon three
several days in each House be suspended, and same is hereby
suspended, and this Act shall be in force and take effect from
and after its passage, and it is so enacted.

PARKER COUNTY ROAD LAWS'REPEALING.
S. B. No. 353.] CHAPTER 125.
An Act repealing local or special road law of Parker County which was
presented to the Governor for approval on March 21, A. D., 1899, and
became a law without his approval, and repealing any and all local or
special road laws for Parker County; and declaring an emergency.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Texas:
SECTION 1. The special road law for Parker County, Texas,
which was presented to the Governor of this State for his approval
on the 21st day of March, A. D., 1899, but was not
signed by him nor returned to the House in which it originated
with his objections thereto within the time prescribed by the
Constitution, and thereupon became a law without his signature,
is hereby in all things repealed. Any and all local or special road
laws for Parker County, Texas, be, and the same are hereby
repealed.
SEC. 2. The fact that it is the legislative intent that Parker
County shall operate under the general road laws of this State
