Her Appearance at Turner Hall
Last Night.
Madame Theo appeared at the Turner
Opera house last evening tor the first
time. She enacted Rose Miction La
Jolle Parfumctise in a bewildering and
enchanting manner all her own. Theo
Is charming captivating ond ravishing.
Who could withstand her? From the

bound to draw expressions of admira-

"Where nre you going my pretty mold?"
hcreiery movement Is the poetry or
liroce. If one may use the term. She
possesses n sympathetic voice that at

A SAD DEATH.
Funeral of Miss Fanny Koenighelm
This Afternoon.
An event occurred yesterday after-
noon that has caused acute grief In one
ofthe most respected families or San
Antonio and the ramlly In their be-
rcnveuient havetho sympathies and con-
dolence or a large circle or friends. Miss
Fannie Koenlgbeim who vni the sec-

at the eorly nge or 18 yeors a victim to
that fell disease consumption. It Is In-
expressibly sad to have to record the
work of the great reoper death
cutting her down In all her
beauty a chaste ond bright womanhood.
Although Mr. and Mra.Jioenlghelra are
blessed with other Intelligent daughters
and sons this loss of one of their favor-
ite children Is one which leaves Irrepa-
rably a void In their hearts. The disease
which was so ratal to this young life was
engendered from a cold caught at a ball
which she attended and her constitu-
tion being naturally weak the cold de-
veloped Into acute consumption The
funeral will take plooe this afternoon
from the residence of the grief stricken
parents on South Flores street at 3
o'clock and Ihe Rer.Dr.Lewlnthal will
perform the last lad rltea or burial.
