who was born the year Palo
Pinto County was organized, 1857 was
an early day minister in the county.
Before his death in 1899, he was pastor
of Rock Tank Baptist Church. He
conducted many brush arbor revivals
at Salesville, Orancm and other communities
in the county. The late Mr. and
