FOURTH CALLED SESSION
APPROPRIATION FOR MILEAGE, PER DIEM, AND
CONTINGENT EXPENSES.
S. B. No. 2.] CHAPTER 1.
An Act to make an appropriation of the sum of One Hundred Fifty
Thousand Dollars ($150,000.00), or so much thereof as may be necessary,
payable out of the General Revenue of the State of Texas, not
otherwise appropriated, to pay the mileage and per diem of members
and to pay the salaries and per diem of officers and employees of the
Fourth Called Session of the Forty-first Legislature of the State of
Texas, and to pay the contingent expenses of the Fourth Called Session
of the Forty-first Legislature of the State of Texas, and to pay any
unpaid expenses incurred by the Third Called Session of the Fortyfirst
Legislature of the State of Texas, and providing for the approval
of accounts and declaring an emergency.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Texas:
SECTION 1. That the sum of One Hundred Fifty Thousand
Dollars ($150,000.00), or so much thereof as may be necessary,
is hereby appropriated out of the General Revenue of the State
of Texas, not otherwise appropriated, to pay the mileage and
per diem of members and the salaries and per diem of the officers
and employees of the Fourth Called Session of the Fortyfirst
Legislature of the State of Texas, and to pay the contingent
expenses of the Fourth Called Session of the Forty-first Legislature
of the State of Texas, and to pay any unpaid expenses incurred
by the Third Called Session of the Forty-first Legislature
of the State of Texas.
SEC. 2. The certificates of the Secretary of the Senate approved
by the President thereof, or the Chief Clerk of the House
of Representatives, approved by the Speaker thereof, shall be
sufficient evidence to the Comptroller upon which he shall audit
the claims for the mileage and per diem of the members and the
salaries and per diem of the officers and employees of the
Fourth Called Session of the Forty-first Legislature, and issue
the necessary warrants for same upon the State Treasurer of the
State of Texas for the respective amounts.
SEC. 3. The certificates of the Chairman of the Committee
on Contingent Expenses of the Senate, approved by the President
of the Senate, or by the Chairman of the Committee on Contingent
Expenses of the House of Representatives, approved by
the Speaker of the House, as the case may be, shall be sufficient
