Two Cent: The same general design to be followed as the
one cent, with a scene depicting "The Fall of the Alamo,"
March 6, 1836, with a likeness of William Barrett Travis in one
panel and James Bowie in the other.
Three Cent: Similar design, the center panel containing the
likeness of Stephen F. Austin with the inscription, "Father of
Texas" 1793-1836, with the flag of the Republic of Texas in
one oval and the flag of the United States in the other oval.
Five Cent: The center panel to depict the massacre at
Goliad, March 27, 1836, with the likeness of James W. Fannin
in one oval and William Ward in the other.
Ten Cent: Depicting the Battle of San Jacinto, April 21,
1836, with the likeness of Sam Houston in one oval and Thomas
J. Rusk in the other oval; be it further
RESOLVED, That copies of this Resolution be forwarded to
the President of the United States, Vice President of the United
States, and Postmaster General of the United States, and
further that copies of this Resolution be forwarded to every
member of the Congress of the United States from the State of
Texas, with a request that they use their influence to secure the
issuance of this set of commemorative stamps for Texas.

GRANTING SAM TOBOLOWSKY AND JAMES A. GRIPEOTIS
PERMISSION TO BRING SUIT AGAINST STATE
OF TEXAS AND STATE HIGHWAY COMMISSION.

HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION.
WHEREAS, During the year 1932, Sam Tobolowsky and
James A. Gripeotis, were damaged by the State Highway Commission
by virtue of the construction of State Highway No. 6
and Federal Highway No. 75, which runs between the City of
Dallas and the City of Vickery, over the property of which said
Tobolowsky and Gripeotis had a leasehold estate at Vickery
Dining Hall, Vickery, Texas, from September 15, 1931 to September
15, 1932, and which they claim destroyed the value of
such lease, the State Highway Commission obstructing the only
avenue of ingress and egress to and from their premises; and
WHEREAS, The State Highway Commission contends that
suit cannot be maintained against said State Highway Commission
without permission from the Legislature of the State of
Texas; and
WHEREAS, Although the Legislature of the State of Texas
,does not admit that the said petitioners have a valid or just
