or wild turkey in Nacogdoches County for a period of five (5)
years and any person violating any provision of this Act shall
be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be fined
in a sum not less than Fifty Dollars ($50.00) nor more than
Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00).
SEC. 2. All laws or parts of laws, in so far as they may be
in conflict with any provisions of this Act, be and the same are
hereby repealed.
SEC. 3. The fact that there is a scarcity of wild deer and
wild turkey in Nacogdoches County and their conservation and
increase is desired, creates an emergency and an imperative
public necessity that the Constitutional Rule requiring bills to
be read on three several days in each House be suspended, and
the same is hereby suspended, and this Act shall be in force and
effect from and after its passage, and it is so enacted.

by a vote of 118 yeas, 0 nays; passed the Senate, September
20, 1934, by a vote of 27 yeas, 0 nays.]

An Act to amend Chapter 95, of the General Laws of the State of Texas
passed by the Regular Session of the Thirty-ninth Legislature, approved
March 19, 1925, creating the Commission in Aid of the Court of Criminal
Appeals of Texas, as amended by Chapter 40, of the General Laws of
the State of Texas, passed by the Regular Session of the Fortieth Legislature,
approved February 18, 1927, as amended by Chapter 137, of the
General Laws of the State of Texas passed by the Regular Session of the
Forty-first Legislature, approved March 2, 1929, providing for the creation
of a Commission for the aid and assistance of the Court of Criminal
Appeals of Texas; regulating their powers and duties; prescribing their
qualifications, appointment, duration of service; fixing the salaries of the
Commissioners, and the manner of payment thereof, and declaring an
emergency.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Texas:
SECTION 1. The Court of Criminal Appeals of this State
shall appoint a Commission to be composed of two attorneysat-law,
having those qualifications fixed by the laws and Constitution
of this State for the Judges of the Court of Criminal
Appeals of Texas, which Commission shall be for the aid and
assistance of said Court in disposing of the business before it;
and such Commission shall discharge such duties as may be
