CHANGING TERMS OF 32ND JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT
IN MITCHELL COUNTY.
S. B. No. 59.] CHAPTER 14.
An Act amending Chapter 366, General Laws of the Regular Session of
the Forty-second Legislature of the State of Texas, so as to change
the, dates of convening the district court in Mitchell County of the
32nd Judicial District of Texas; and declaring an emergency.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Texas:
SECTION 1. That Section 1, Chapter 366, General Laws Regular
Session of the Forty-second Legislature of Texas be
amended so as to hereafter read as follows::
Section 1. The 32nd Judicial District of Texas shall be composed
of the counties of Nolan, Scurry, Mitchell, Howard, and
Borden, and the terms of the District Court of said District
shall be held therein each year as follows:
In the County of Nolan on the first Monday in January of
each year and may continue in session eight weeks; on the second
Monday after the first Monday in September of each year
and may continue in session four weeks.
In the County of Howard on the twelfth Monday after the
first Monday in January of each year and may continue in session
eight weeks; on the ninth Monday after the first Monday
in September of each year, and may continue in session four
weeks.
In the County of Scurry on the eighth Monday after the first
Monday in January of each year and may continue in session
four weeks; on the sixth Monday after the first Monday in September
of each year and may continue in session three weeks.
In the County of Mitchell on the twentieth Monday after the
first Monday in January of each year and may continue in session
four weeks; on the thirteenth Monday after the first Monday
in September of each year and may continue in session four
weeks.
In the County of Borden on the twenty-fourth Monday after
the first Monday in January of each year and may continue in
session two weeks; on the thirty-fifth Monday after the first
Monday in January of each year and may continue in session
two weeks.
SECTION 2. The fact that the dates for holding court in the
County of Mitchell in the 32nd Judicial District, as provided
in Chapter 366, General Laws of the Regular Session of the
Forty-second Legislature, conflicts with other terms of the same
district creates an emergency and an imperative public necessity
that the Constitutional Rule requiring bills to be read on
three several days be suspended, and the same is hereby suspended,
and that this Act shall take effect immediately upon its
passage, and it is so enacted.

Effective August 12, 1931.
