WHEREAS, Lent M. Hitchcock jr and Stephen Vansickle
did . on the 13th day of January A D 1843, filé their pro-
cess of libel egfainst the sloop called the Washington, her tackle,
apparel and lurnitiire, and Simeon Bridly now ia or late was
master «rsaid:f|opp, aud against alljpersona lawfully intervening
for their interest in said sloop Washinjgton, Arc, in á cause of pom
tradt. civil and maratime, and thereupon said' libellants alledgé
and propound as follows—to wil:
"First, that the said Sloop Washington, of the burthen of a-
