Notes

Mr. L. U. Mason taught vocational agriculture at Pemberton High School in Marshall. Nothing further is known of him. The picture is from a yearbook. Pemberton no longer exists as a campus. The traditionally African-American senior high school became a ninth grade school following integration. It was finally merged with Marshall High School in 1988.
