Description

A letter from Hamilton K. Redway in Washington D.C. to his wife, Loriette Redway, on August 4, 1867. In the letter, Hamilton Redway expresses his love for his wife and children, and mentions that he would like his family to join him in Washington as soon as possible. Redway informs Loriette that he has had some goods sent to Loriette. Redway asks about Ellen. This may be in reference to his niece, Ellen Loretta.
