it is the opinion of said justice [Braswell] that deceased came to his death by wounds
inflicted on his person by himself.

......came to his death by being run over by the cars on the Dallas and Greenville
Railway Company near Hall Street.

B. C. COX-about 35 years, white male, dark complexion, weight 150 pounds.
.....that deceased came to his death from wounds inflicted by himself on his own person
with intent to produce death.

UNKNOWN- mulatto female, infant child, 12 (sic) day October... body of a mulatto
female, unknown infant child, then and there lying dead. It is the opinion of the said
justice [Braswell].. that the said child was not born twenty-four hours before the inquest
was held and that it came to its death from some unknown and unnatural means.
