Mr*. Will Hi •ascll of this place,
died today of pneumonia after
a lingering illness of several
weeks. She was seriously sick at
the time Of her husband's deaths
two weeks ago, and since then
she has been gradually sinking
until the end came this morning
Five children are now orphans
and the sympathy of the entire

O. F. Thursday, Feb. 7, 1901.
Whereas, it has pleased Al-
migcty God to remove from our
midst J>io. T. C. Boone, who
wan a charter member of Empire
Lodge No (>8, and had been an
Odd Fellow for more than forty
eight years, during all of which
time ho has exemplified the prin-
ciples of our order, and whereas,
we deeply mourn his death, now

only for its awn sake, but because
it was presented to this lodge by
