This darling one lay upon a
bed of suffering for weeks,
carefully watched by anxious
and tearful friends. Yet no re
lief from the awful fate of
death could be had. The morn
of life had just begun to dawn

human horizon. Sweet songs
of birds were still unhe%rd when
the mantle of death obscured
the future of human existence
with its earthly pleasures and
