separate accounts to be known as
separate variable annuity accounts;
providing for investment of separate
account funds; providing for the valu-
ation of assets allocated to separate
variable annuity accounts; requiring
the State Board of Insurance to es-
tablish the reserve liability for var-
iable annuity contracts; requiring in-
surers authorized pursuant to this
article to file separate annual state-
ments of variable annuity accounts;
authorizing domestic companies to
amend their charters to make special
provisions relative to variable annu-
ity contracts; providing for and re-
quiring licensing of variable annuity
insurance agents; authorizing and re-
quiring tle State Board of Insurance
to issue1i les and regulations to car-
ry out the purpoSes of this section;
providing for the issuance of certain
variable nnuity contracts by certain
nonprofit corporations and the regula-
tion of such contracts an4 corpora-
tions by the State Board of Insur-
ance; providing that the provisions
hereof shall be cumulative; repealing
laws or parts of laws in conflict here-
with to the extent of such conflict;
and declaring an emergency.
