Our school teachers are a lot who seldom receive the credit they
deserve. This editorial from the Ringgold Junior High School
newspaper sums it up well. "I believe that our teaching system is
one of the finest. I say this because our teachers try to inform their
students in the best way possible. I believe that they deserve a lot of
credit for this. It isn't their fault that there are certain students who
just could not care less about their teachers, their grades, or even
school. Some students don't realize how much time these teachers
spend on making sure they know what they're supposed to. They
make sure you know how to work a problem, answer a question, or
whatever. They're always there when you need them. They take
the time to figure out averages, make report cards, and so many
other things that we don't even notice. But how many times do we
stop to realize how much our teachers care? We must give
recognition to our teachers. We must help them in any way we can.
These people work as hard as they can to make sure we know what
we should. Now after all this, don't you think we should respect our
teachers a little more because without them, where would we be?
Just as our teachers help us learn, shouldn't we help them teach?"
