PUBLIC SCHOOLS WEEK-The twenty fourth annual observance ot Texas Public Schools
Week was celebrated in all Rio Grande City Schools last week, March 3 through 7. Many
parents and other interested persons visited the open houses at the schools during the week
to view the work that is being done by the students and teachers in their classrooms. Open
Houses locally were held at Rio Grande City High School, Ringgold Junior High School,
Ringgold Intermediate, Roque Guerra Jr. Elementary, North Grammar School, La Union
School, Grulla Primary, Ringgold Primary, and Grulla Elementary School. Shown visiting
