44 MELACHOL,".
The Painless Laxative and Superior Nerve Tonic.
RETAIL PRICE, 75c PER BOTTLE.
This medicine is a definite chemical compound of sodium with nitric, citric
and phosphoric acids. It is an aesthetic pharmaceutical preparation, which
renders the exhibition of these well-known remedies convenient and acceptable
to the patient. To the physician this statement of its composition will imply
the variety of troubles for which it was intended, and a practical trial of its
merits will show that MELACHOL is superior to its namesake, Calomel.
It stands as a bulwark against all diseases of the liver, that may be caused
by candies, rich food, liquors, or neglect of exercise; and therefore will remove
their symptoms, headache, melancholia, languor, dizziness, constipation,
pains in the limbs and shoulders. To restore and permanently establish the
vigor of manaood, it is superior to any other known remedy.
In malarial troubles it efficiently supplies the place of Calomel, and is fol-
lowed by no unpleasant consequences.
Dose for adults : To move the bowels, a large tablespoonful in water, be-
fore breakfast. For chronic malarial, or other liver troubles, half a teasuoon-
ral in water two or three times a day.
