Don't let the hand of Time paint wrinkles on your face. Keep
young by keeping the blood pure and the digestive organs in a
healthful condition. HERBINE will do this. Health is youth;
disease and sickness bring old age. Price 50 cents. Sold by T.
P. M. & M. Co.'s Pharmacy.
There was an interesting and exciting horse race, quarter-
mile dash, at old New Castle last Saturday, between a local fav-
orite and a "tourist" animal said to have happened in Indian
Territory. The local horse won the stakes, $50 a side, and many
side bets also changed hands. Some question exists as to the
"squareness" of the race, but it is dismissed with—"all's fair in
horse racing."
Are you nervous, run-down, weak and dispirited? Take a
few doses of HERBINE. It will infuse new energy, new life, in-
to the exhausted nerves, the overworked brain or muscular sys-
tem, and put a new face on life and business. Price, 50 cents.
Sold by T. P. M. & M. Co.'s Pharmacy.
Ducks, hundreds of ducks, possibly thousands, were seen in
and flying over the numerous big lakes and tanks here during
the recent cold snap, and last Sunday the boys burned quantities
of powder in an effort to bring them down. They (the ducks,
of course) were wild and flew high, but many made their last
trip a-wing.
There is probably no disease or condition of the human sys-
tem that causes more suffering and distress than piles. TAB-
LER'S BUCKEYE PILE OINTMENT cures them quickly, with-
out pain or detention from business. Price 50 cents, in bottles.
Tubes, 75 cents. Sold by T. P. M. & M. Co.'s Pharmacy.
Mr. Walter Beneke is soliciting subscribers for the Journal,
renewing delinquents, etc., and any favors shown him will be
duly appreciated by the management of the paper. While help-
ing to swell the Journal's subscription list, you will at the same
time help Walter to make a commission by renewing or sub-
scribing.
Nervous children are almost always thin children. The "out-
of-door-boy" is seldom nervous. WHITE CREAM VERMI-
FUGE is best preventive of nervousness. It strengthens the
system and assists to that sort of flesh which creates strength
and power of endurance. Price 25 cents. Sold by T. P. M. & M.
Co.'s Pharmacy.
A Single firm of Patent Lawyers, C. A. Snow & Co., Washing-
ton, D. C., has in the last year procured 1630 patents for its
clients, many of them for rejected inventions. C. A. Snow &
Co., have been accused of railroading patents through the Patent
Office, but they insist that this locomotion is better than ox-cart-
ing them, for by the latter process the inventor often dies before
he gets his patent.
Among the Stephenville visitors here in attendance upon the
K. of P. ball were Deputy Sheriff and Mrs. Harve Keith, District
Clerk Joe K. Terrett, County Clerk Thomas G. Geren, Mr. W. A.
Dawson. Messrs. Terrett and Geren are candidates for re-elee-
tion to their respective offices.
